2025 Odyssey Ai-ONE Additions And New DFX Putters

Odyssey made some serious waves when they unfurled their Ai-ONE putter line-up back in 2023. The centrepiece A.I.-designed insert was compelling, offering improved distance control and forgiveness.

In 2025, Odyssey expand the Ai-ONE’s reach significantly. A plethora of new head styles join the ranks, along with additional models of the most popular putter in the collection — the Jailbird Mini.

And to appease the traditionalists, 2025 sees a selection of Ai-ONE putters available in a classic silver finish while a new Odyssey DFX line-up also drops.

Ai-ONE INSERT

Before we dive into the bevy of new Ai-ONE models, it’s worth reviewing why the putters are such a big deal in the first place.

As you might've guessed, it’s all because of Odyssey’s revolutionary Ai-ONE insert. Designed by artificial intelligence, the insert’s aluminium backing plate features a bunch of random contours and curves. Odyssey take great pride in what their A.I. process created, installing a small transparent Panlite window on their Ai-ONE range that offers a glimpse of the insert’s unusual topography.

To the human eye it makes little sense. But it’s designed to produce consistent ball speed whether the strike occurs in the centre of the putter face, or nearer to the heel or toe. And as most golfers will attest, consistent speed control is the key to keeping your flatstick warm.

The aluminium backing plate is co-moulded to a urethane White Hot insert, which provides a soft but solid feel off the face. In the Ai-ONE Milled range, the face material is milled titanium.

NEW ODYSSEY Ai-ONE SILVER PUTTERS

Odyssey’s initial Ai-ONE release was finished with a high-contrast navy-blue-on-white PVD theme. It was bold choice but Odyssey attempt to turn the volume down in 2025 by offering a classic silver finish for the most popular models in the Ai-ONE range.

Odyssey Ai-ONE and Ai-ONE Milled putters now come in four silver models.

Ai-ONE SILVER MODELS

The Ai-ONE silver range offers two blades and two mallets. The classic Odyssey #1, an Anser-style blade with a crank hosel, is joined by the oversized Double Wide blade that offers more moderate toe hang performance.

On the mallet front, Odyssey serves up a pair of silver #7s. The #7 S is fitted with a slant hosel for aggressive toe hang while the #7 DB is face balanced via a double bend shaft.

Ai-ONE MILLED SILVER MODELS

The Two T is the sole blade in the Ai-ONE Milled silver range. It features rounded bumpers and a crank hosel with a full shaft offset.

The Three T is a mid-size, squareback mallet, fitted with a slant hosel for aggressive toe hang. It’s joined by Odyssey’s classic #7 fanged mallet, which comes in a face balanced Double Bend model and a crank hosel version that is geared for moderate toe hang.

MORE JAILBIRD MINI, THANKS

The Jailbird Mini was by far the most popular putter in the initial Ai-ONE release. In 2025, Odyssey have four new versions of the mallet ready for service.

The new slant neck Jailbird Mini offers 32° of toe hang —more than double the original crank hosel version — and will be an excellent match for putting strokes that move in an aggressive arc.

Meanwhile, the crank hosel Jailbird Mini now appears in a new Versa 90 configuration. It’s fitted with a counterbalanced 90g Stroke Lab shaft and features Odyssey’s high-contrast Versa alignment system. Odyssey also serve up a Jailbird Mini Versa 90 Double Bend model, which is face balanced.

Meanwhile, the Ai-ONE Milled range also gets its own Jailbird Mini T Versa 90. It features a milled titanium face and is face balanced.

NEW Ai-ONE CRUISER MODEL

2025 sees a 380g Jailbird Versa 90 model touch down in the Cruiser line-up. Odyssey’s Ai-ONE Cruiser range features heavier and longer 38-inch shafts matched to heavier head weights and a longer 17-inch grip.

It joins the 2-Ball jailbird released late last year, bumping the Ai-ONE Cruiser line out to seven models.

THE NEW Ai-ONE MILLED CRUISER RANGE

Odyssey also debut a new Ai-ONE Milled Cruiser range in 2025. Featuring milled stainless steel heads and a milled titanium Ai-ONE face insert, the Cruiser Milled line-up kicks off with three models that all feature Odyssey’s Cruiser specifications: heftier 380g head weights and heavier and longer 38-inch Stroke Lab shafts fitted with a 17-inch grip.

The Ai-ONE Milled Cruiser Jailbird T mallet, featuring traditional Jailbird stripes, is joined by the Jailbird Versa 90 T. Both are face balanced mallets.

The Ai-ONE Milled Cruiser range is rounded out by a One Wide T blade. Fitted with a crank hosel, it offers a moderate level of toe hang.

Ai-ONE SQUARE 2 SQUARE ADDITIONS

With zero-torque, face balanced putters currently in vogue, Odyssey expand their Square 2 Square range to seven models in 2025.

Odyssey introduce Cruiser versions of their existing Double Wide, #7 and Jailbird Square 2 Square putters. They feature Odyssey’s 38-inch Cruiser shaft and 380g head weights — 20g heavier than their standard Sq2Sq equivalents.

But perhaps the coolest addition to Odyssey’s zero torque collection is the new Square 2 Square Jailbird Broomstick putter. It’s fitted with a 48-inch shaft and a hefty 490g head weight, offering face-balanced performance for endorsees of the broomstick putting method.

Ai-ONE Square 2 Square Cruiser models are fitted with an oversized 17” grip while the Jailbird Cruiser features a two piece grip.

ODYSSEY DFX PUTTERS

Five new DFX models round out Odyssey’s 2025 putter range.

DFX is Odyssey's value-focused line that features a selection of their most popular head shapes, all fitted with Odyssey’s DFX insert. The DFX insert is 20 per cent softer than Odyssey’s White Hot insert and is the softest insert in the Odyssey line-up.

The new Odyssey DFX range consists of two blades and three mallets in 2025. The DFX #1 is an Anser-esque blade, while the #1W is a wider version of the #1. Both blades offer aggressive toe hang.

The DFX V-Line Fang is a face-balanced hybrid mallet design, characterised by rounded perimeter-weighted fangs. The DFX 2-Ball Blade is also a hybrid mallet that mixes Odyssey’s famous 2-Ball configuration with a blade-like front. And finally, the winged, Spider-like Odyssey DFX #10 mallet offers extreme stability and forgiveness.
