CALLAWAY ELYTE TRIPLE DIAMOND TOUR DRAW DRIVER
The Tour Draw was created because several Callaway tour pros felt the “standard” Elyte Triple Diamond driver was a bit of a fade machine. On holes that required a draw off the tee, it was a battle to turn the ball over, which caused plenty of frustration and missed prize money. And in our experience, anything getting in the way of a tour pro cashing cheques is a problem that necessitates an immediate solution.
Which conveniently brings us to the new TD Tour Draw. The driver features the same head size and shape as the regular Triple Diamond. But it has a little more weight in the heel-side which helps the head turn over easier, thus creating a more drawable driver off the tee.
For the tour pros, the Tour Draw is a path towards greater riches; for everyone else, what’s there not to like about hitting a high, sweeping, draw off the tee?
So, if you like the more compact look and enhanced workability of Triple Diamond drivers but want to hit draws off the tee more effortlessly (and let’s face it, who doesn’t) the Elyte TD TD might be a viable option.
We should clarify the TD stamped on the sole does indicate Tour Draw. The new TD TD driver is not a Triple Diamond version of the existing Triple Diamond driver.
Glad we’ve cleared that up.
