Wilson Dynapwr Drivers, Fairway Woods and Hybrids (2025)

Make no mistake, Wilson’s new Dynapwr driver range should be included in any 2025 driver/metalwood conversation. The question is: are you willing to give it a chance?

Wilson’s latest Dynapwr evolution is set to disrupt the Big Five golf brands by offering game-changing speed, distance and forgiveness at a more accessible price point. And while Dynapwr drivers, fairways and hybrids are tour-first clubs, Wilson have gone all-in by offering more models in a bid to tick the box for every skill level and demographic.

WILSON’S PWR MOVE

To significantly improve on the previous generation of Dynapwr metalwoods, Wilson rolled up their sleeves, fired up the supercomputer and got creative.

They explored a multitude of design possibilities for the 2025 Dynapwr range before landing on a couple of key technological advances and upgrades for the latest evolution.

A new streamlined skirt on the rear of the Dynapwr driver head reduces aerodynamic drag significantly. As any golfer will tell you, that can only lead to good things: faster ball speeds and more distance off tee.

Meanwhile, Wilson also turned up the volume on their A.I. face design to conjure ball speed gains in the Dynapwr line-up, which could best be described as “explosive™” (apologies to TaylorMade).

The third generation PKR360 titanium face they've churned out (PKR stands for Peak Kinetic Response in case you were wondering) generates higher ball speeds from every part of the face. And that effectively means the entire Dynapwr driver line-up has a bigger sweet spot that will lead to longer and straighter drives wherever you hit it on the face.

THE OPEN HOSEL POLICY

The Open Hosel design seen on all three Dynapwr drivers and the new Dynapwr Carbon fairway wood is also worth a mention.

Wilson has left what appears to be a gaping void around the hosel area. However, we can assure you it’s for a good cause.

Removing mass taking up space around the hosel gave Wilson the freedom to reposition that weight more judiciously within the head. As any golf gearhead will tell you, taking mass and putting it somewhere more usable is a good thing. A very, very good thing.

It allowed Wilson to finetune the centre of gravity in each Dynapwr driver, elevating performance off the tee and providing more separation in performance between the three models.

However, the open hosel design offers another advantage: it allowed the PKR360 face to flex more. That created a more efficient transfer of energy from the club head to ball for an extra burst of speed at impact.

And, not for nothing, the new Dynapwr drivers feature a six-slot adjustable hosel that opens up myriad customised loft and trajectory tuning possibilities.

WILSON DYNAPWR DRIVER MODELS

The Wilson Dynapwr driver range covers the entire spectrum of performance, with three models segmented into distinct performance bands.

WILSON DYNAPWR LS DRIVER

The Dynapwr LS driver features a more compact 445cc head that offers greater workability for better players. A forward centre of gravity attained through a carbon fibre crown and sole and front and rear weights (6g and 12g) produces low-spinning, low-launching performance and a neutral ball flight. The weights can be swapped over to generate more spin and a higher launch if desired. Lofts: 8°, 9°, 10.5°

WILSON DYNAPWR CARBON DRIVER

The Dynapwr Carbon driver is tour-inspired and offers a blend of speed, forgiveness and workability. Featuring a carbon crown and sole, the 460cc head is full of forgiveness, however, the Carbon’s shallow head and narrow footprint offer a compact appearance that promotes workability. Front and back weights (3g and 9g) can be configured to customise launch and spin. Lofts: 9°, 10.5°

WILSON DYNAPWR MAX DRIVER

The all-titanium Dynapwr Max driver is the most forgiving and stable driver model in the Dynapwr driver line-up. Longer front-to-back and wider heel-to-toe, the Max’s rear weight can be flipped to create a draw-biased or neutral ball flight. Wilson also offer a Dynapwr Max Women’s driver. Lofts: 9°, 10.5°, 12°

WILSON DYNAPWR FAIRWAY WOODS AND HYBRIDS

A new Carbon fairway wood — a first for Wilson — is the headline act in the 2025 Dynapwr fairway wood range.

Its tour-level performance sets the tone for the new Dynapwr fairway woods and hybrids, which generate plenty of heat through Wilson’s new A.I.-designed PKR360 face.

Distance is only part of it though. Wilson have also upgraded forgiveness all over the face, which makes the new Dynapwr fairways and hybrids easy to launch, fast and satisfyingly stable.

WILSON DYNAPWR CARBON FAIRWAY WOOD

A lightweight carbon fibre crown and huge 30g tungsten front weight combine to make the Dynapwr Carbon fairway wood a low-spin bomber off the tee or from the fairway thanks to its penetrating ball flight. Lofts: 3+: 13.5°, 3W; 15°, 4W; 16.5°, 5W: 18°, 7W; 21°

WILSON DYNAPWR MAX FAIRWAY WOOD

The Dynapwr Max is the more stable and forgiving of the two Dynapwr fairway woods. Featuring a thin steel crown, weight is concentrated low and rearward in the club head to maximise stability. WILSON DYNAPWR HYBRID

A low centre of gravity and A.I.-designed face have improved ball speed and optimised launch to make the new Dynapwr hybrid fast, long and extremely forgiving. The compact hybrid offers improved performance out of the toe area, while the face features an expanded sweet spot that boosts ball speeds across the entire area of the face.
